Many housing companies here; private companies. But what is impossible is the price to your budget or reason. They are too high, some costing 30,000 pesos per square meter. If you will buy a hundred square meters, that will be 3,000m000 pesos or 60,000 us dollars. Enough to lunch a revolution in a mid-size mountain province, if I may say. Housing affordable to ordinary folks like my neighbor and I is under the government programs, and they are few and far between. Hence, many squatters.

How can you say it is impossible? If you go to local listing (MLS) websites, there are practically thousands of houses for sale and for rent (let/lease). Even if you dont know those websites, you can just Google “house for sale/rent Philippines” and you’ll see what I mean. Are you looking for a house in a deserted island or a rural area very far from civilization?
