“How much will it cost to buy a house in the Philippines?” Anywhere from PHP50 to PHP50,000,000+ (US$1 to US$1 million plus). Please refine the question. If you had asked, “How much will it cost to buy a house in the United States?” think of the variety of answers you would get. Detroit and San Francisco housing prices are not interchangeable even for the same exact house. And no one bedroom is interchangeable for a three bedroom house anywhere. Do be aware that in the Philippines foreign nationals cannot buy landed property. It’s in their constitution. Foreigners can however buy condominiums outright, or lease land (25 years, renewable) and build on it. I’ve seen condos (studio, near Cebu – new build, no high end anything inside) for US$25,000. I’ve also seen Studios in Makati, Manila (very nicely fit out too) for US$250,000. As with anywhere in the world, you get what you pay for. Good luck.

Depends on what you want to buy. There’s Lumina that sells house and lot packages for as low as P2k a month under Pag-ibig. But they also have small townhouses for about P1.5M or about P8k a month. Check out their quora space here. 🙂 Camella is the number 1 house and lot brand in the Philippines. Average house price is at P3M but they also have big houses that can be as much as P8M for a 6 BR house. Not bad right?
