How much will it cost to build a simple house in the Philippines? The house area is 50sqm., one-storey, and has a CR, a kitchen, a living room, and perhaps 2-3 rooms if possible.

I helped my girlfriend’s family rebuild their house in Mindanao in late 2020. It took about 4 months and cost a little over 500,000. House has concrete floor and block walls on lower floor and timber framing and floor on upper floor, corrugated iron roof. Inside is basic L-shaped kitchen, CR and open room downstairs; 1 room open to stairs and 2 small bedrooms upstairs. Total area over 2 floors 55 – 60m2.

One-storey basic house in PH is between 3000–4000Php/ Square meter.Roofing makes difference, , windows, floor surface, and doors also vary a lot depending on material.Corrugated galvanized tin roof without color, and lumber trusses is cheaper than epoxy coated steel roof on steel trusses, but the cheaper will last shorter.
