    Believe it or not, unless you are in a good private hospital, you will need to bring someone to take care of you. Nurses are not responsible for helping you do things like get food and go to the bathroom.

    Make sure you have someone that can come help take care of you during your stay, and make a plan to get food, prescriptions, and whatever else you will need while in the hospital.
