I've been married to a filipina for almost 4 years now. She is a wonderful person and wife. She doesn't drive so she's a housewife basically. I had to have heart surgery a couple of years ago and I don't know what I would have done without her. She loves watching action movies but has trouble following American comedies. We still laugh at some of our miscommunications but that's part of the fun in our relationship. She takes great pride in our modest home and has filled it with plants, which I love. Speaking for myself, I couldn't ask for anyone better but every situation is different.

From my experience: Apart from traditional African women, “I did not say African-American”,I meant African women from Africa. the next awesome women to marry are Filipino women. Am married to a filipina, my wife is such a blessing an amazing woman and she treats me like her Royal majesty every single day, not because of my status or accomplishment,(she has accomplished alot too) but because she loves me and we both figure out how to make each other happy to stay married. Even when I was still in school and have no extra-money to spend for us, she was still there, In fact she was working while i was still in school, and you know what? she spent half of her salary taking care of our needs. Yet , she never disrespected me or trying to rob shoulders with me. She is a smart woman cos now, she has everything and still remain simple and nice. However, not all filipina are like that, some of them wont stay with you when you have nothing to offer, while some will stay with you on a hidden agenda and expectations(maybe for Visa or immigration), While some will disappear ones you stop taking care of their needs and that of their families. But when you find a genuine filipina, that doesn't need your money nor nationality, but your love and loyalty, my brother, you will be happy for the rest of your life. A genuine Filipina loves not just with her heart, also with her liver, lungs, kidney and all that is within her. Haha In general, most filipina make awesome and wonderful wives. You just have to look at the right places and community's. Lastly, start becoming a good husband and you will find a good wife.
