The answer to this is an unequivocal no! Unlike the West, in the PH there is really no such thing as having close (non-sexual) relationships with members of the opposite sex. Generally, in the PH, if unrelated people of the opposite sex are hanging out all the time, then they are hooking-up for sure. Of course, in the West, many of us men have women friends that we don’t sleep with: and it is no big deal.

Watch out dude! If your Filipina hangs our with alot of Filipino men and claims that they are just friends, then this is a big red flag ! She’s probably bang%&ing some of them! Sorry, just saying! Sometimes, really slick and clever Filipinas will introduce their secret lovers as being their ‘cousin’ or ‘uncle’ or their ‘gay-friend’ . They will use this as a cover to sleep with these men without raising any suspicions from you. The moral of the story here is this: ask your Filipina alot of questions, and vett her hard !
