Thanks for the A2A. Before you enter into a conversation with a Philippine native be very aware. Both male and female have deceptive and insidious ways to draw you into circumstances that prey on your vulnerability. One small sidestep and you could be sucked into a whirlpool of connections not of your making. I had occasion to be involved. My publishers were based in Cebu. At first they seemed legitimate people with pseudo american accents and polite conversations. This slowly changed to making sly contact on a personal basis. A little at a time. The net was cast in such subtle ways to draw you into the deceit circle. “There's a cyclone coming this weekend.” “ My little pig farm to support my family is running short of food.” “ I’m on my way to church to pray for you and the family” “ My cousin met with an accident and is in hospital. I have to sell my bike to pay the bills” “ I live in a small house with 6 others. I have no privacy” “ I can't pay my internet bill. Its too much for me. “ My birthday is coming up in July and I want to treat my family in a resort” “ Do you like sex? Are you married? Like to see some pictures of me?” These were standard openers. Slowly the American accent vanished and the real Filipino accent emerged. It was cute. Things now looked real. Unfortunately, I decided to visit Manila to see for myself. I had other businesses to attend to. Not publishing. The shock was incredible. I was being sucked into something I had never experienced. Subtle blackmail. A support system that was never disclosed. A tour of the city that never showed the seedy side. Magnificent churches next to each other. Worshippers thumping their chests in ardent favour. The underbelly never showed itself. Each time I went to an American fast food outlet young mothers clutched blue eyed babies with obese foreigners paying to feed entire families. Sex was abundant and careless. Streets were lined up with call girls soliciting business. Hotels were filled with customers seeking relationships. Yet they went to church, prayed sincerely and made promises. This was a way of life. On the one side ornate mansions filled tree lined streets. Shopping malls stood side by side. Five in a row. At every turn in the road there were touts selling something or other, mostly cheap goods.The airports were packed with travellers to the Middle East, Traffic snarls were horrendous mostly with inconsiderate driver jostling for space. Of course, the women were far more cultured and open than the men. Underneath all of the positives, one could easily see why the women wanted to escape this kind of drivel. The westerner was their biggest catch. You married the entire family. Often the entire village. It was all so easy. Whatever you do- don't get sucked into any form of relationship. The process is well tuned to catch you. It's an art. Stay away from it. I lost big time on my first trip. The next trip I took my entire family to experience deceit. I didn't lose a penny. There is no third trip. Ever. Thanks.

Here are some Things to Know before bcoming romantically involved with filipina.. Filipinas are religiousIf you think that it’s somehow funny to make jokes about God, religion or the church, you will mess up your first date with a Filipina. I guarantee you that. Filipinas love to have fun and to joke around but there’s one thing that they can’t laugh about. They can’t laugh about religion. Filipinas are interested in Western men (with one exception)I assume that you are living in a Western country. You are probably American, or maybe European. It doesn’t matter, because no matter you are from Europe or from the USA, Filipinas are happy to meet you. It’s no secret that Filipinas are attracted to Western men. However, they are only attracted to a certain type of men. They dream about meeting a Western man who is educated, honest and sincere. There is one thing that every Filipina is terribly afraid of — meeting one of THESE tourists. You know exactly what I mean when I say THESE. I’m talking about the guys who travel to the Philippines because of the CHEAP beer and the cheap women in the rundown bars they like to go to. Filipinas don’t want to meet a guy like that. Understand her culture and you will understand herThere are some things about the Filipino culture that you have to understand before you go on your first date. I already warned you about the fact that these women are religious but I haven’t told you what can happen when you try to KISS HER IN PUBLIC. Oh boy, don’t even think about it.! KISSING IN PUBLIC IS SOMETHING that FILIPINOS DON’T DO …ever. I know you want to kiss her and she probably wants it too. There’s nothing wrong with a kiss as long as you don’t do it in public. Let her know that you are not one of these guys!!!What did I tell you about the men who spend their time in shady bars? No decent Filipina wants to date such a guy. And I assume that you want to date a decent traditional Filipina who is looking for love and not for a sponsor. She wants to be your girlfriend, more than anything else. But she probably wants more than that. Filipinas are religious women with traditional family values. They don’t believe in the so-called HOOKUP culture. When they are in love with a man, they want to love him and take care of him until the end of days. Yes, that’s something you should know before you think about dating a Filipina. She wants to be your girlfriend but she dreams about being your wife. Filipinas tend to be conservative when it comes to sex.Filipinas are raised to believe sex is for someone you intend to spend the rest of your lives with. (Our Catholic religion plays a part in that, too.) Of course, some Filipinas tend to be less sexually conservative than others, but even then, they probably prefer not to talk openly about their sexual experiences.
