I am from Davao City and used to live in Davao. My favorite route in going to Cagayan De Oro is through Calinan -Buda road. Even if the road was pretty rough at that time way back in mid 90's, I still love to use the same road. The view is magnificent. I can still vividly remember the trees , grass and our stopover. It was like going to Baguio, using the zigzag road at the time when you can still smell the crisp, fresh smell of the pine trees on your way up – it is absolutely the same experience with a healthier mountain view of trees. My friends would brag me today of how beautiful the road is going to Cagayan De Oro using our favorite Calinan – Buda road.
