    I was born and raised in Manila, but my late grandpa on my mom's side was a CFI judge in a province, so we went home to Bohol every 2 years. Dad was from Iloilo, Mom from Roxas. I don't have a favorite province. Wherever we go that is lovely, makes me happy. So far the last trip was Boracay. I loved the beach, except for the litter floating around. No wonder they had to be shut down for 6 months. Now I'm saving up for a trip, hopefully this year, to Batangas. As always, every single province has its great food and historical places.

    I've never been there, but I'm drawn to Batanes. It is rather remote, slower pace of life and I think the stone houses are pretty cool where nipa huts were the norm on Luzon and other islands.
