It has the most expensive tricycle/pedicab rates (in the Philippines). This is due to unregulated transportation system as well as pedicabs staying in their own stations/barangays (TODA). They use natural wind as air-conditioner, despite the pollution due to vehicle emissions. If you arrive at night, you might spot a group (or groups) of cyclists (MTB or, more likely, single-gear bikes aka fixies). They ride with style and just roam around the city even if the weather is warm/hot). If you meet a group of locals in a discussion, you might have an impression that they are fighting or arguing (and they would sound similar to a FlipTop battle). But don’t worry, the pronunciation and intonation are just part of the local dialect. They might just be discussing about some food, movie or another topic.

Probably the tricycle and Jeepney as these two transportations are not available in other Southeast Asia countries, kind of local thing. Also the medical equipments and techniquies still have tremendous space for improving, didn't mean to be offensive, many pills there quite expensive, some even double price while only cost a small money in my homeland. If you happened to visit Angles during Easter, there's one thing you shouldn't miss. As we all knows, Jesus sacrificed himself on cross,so you will see people will carrying the cross to the downtown market or church, some of them may tolerate themselves by wounding themselves on the back with sharp blade. Perhaps they think they feel closer with Jesus by enduring suffering, they share the pain that Jesus had tasted.BTW,the scene is a bit bloody,it might makes you feeling uncomfortable, so think it over if you can bear with that before you make your decision. All in all,Angeles still a city filled with passion and mystery, really worth a visit.People there are nice and helpful.I wish you a fantastic adventure in Angeles.
